Job SummaryThe Production Worker will utilize a variety of tools and equipment to produce window and/or patio door screens according to customer order. Applicants should be reliable, work well in a team environment, and have ambition. Job DescriptionReporting to the Value Stream Manager, the Production Worker is responsible for ensuring completion of the following duties. Positions may require candidates to:Install fabricated screen cloth onto assembled window and door framesEffectively utilize hand tools, air tools, saws, and tape measurersEnsure high quality of assembled parts and adherence to customer requirements Qualifications & Experience Basic skills include but are not limited to:Ability to analyze and solve problems.Ability to work with others collaboratively.Strong organizational skills. SkillsThe ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.Maintain a clean and organized (5S) work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.Problem solving and troubleshooting.Organization and planningTime-Management and adaptivity Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience preferred. Physical RequirementsAbility to perform repetitive motions using the arm, wrist, and shoulder.Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands at arm's length with a break every 2 hours.Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
