Medical Director - Occupational Medicine Opportunity in TN _x000D_ Based in Johnson City, TN_x000D x000D_ General Summary _x000D x000D_- The Medical Director provides clinical and operational guidance and leadership_x000D_- Assist in developing the long/short-term strategy and tactics for the growth and development of the service line and improvement of the health of the population we serve via engagement in development of clinical standards of care._x000D_- Participate in recruitment and on-boarding of new providers, including performance feedback and coaching as needed to ensure positive professional development and retention_x000D_- Lead/support development of quality initiatives and other programs to continually improve cost effectiveness and quality of services and patient and client satisfaction_x000D_- Support securing new and maintain existing business as required. Identify new accounts to meet growth strategies and communicate information to the BHMA leadership team._x000D_- Provide consultative services in occupational health, including provision of medical director services to client companies and in development of onsite programs that focus on a healthy lifestyle._x000D_- Serve as the designated physician and advanced practice clinician supervisor for clinics, onsite programs, and Business Health team members_x000D_- Serve as the Medical Review Officer (MRO) for the program_x000D x000D_ Experience Needed _x000D x000D_- Valid and active Medical Licensure in TN and VA_x000D_- Valid and active Board Certification for Occupational Medicine_x000D_- Medical License free of sanctions from any healthcare entity and payer_x000D_- DEA clear of any restrictions or recent sanction_x000D_- DOT and MRO certifications required; others may be needed as market needs shift_x000D_- Five years minimum clinical experience_x000D_
