Staffmark has an opening for a Production Operator in Piney Flats, TN, who will have the opportunity to work for our client that specializes in manufacturing packaging products for an array of end markets that range from food, pet food, beverage, lawn and garden, nutraceutical, and health care.   We offer a variety of shifts so you can pick the schedule that fits you best. These range from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift, Monday - Friday, with alternate days and weekends off.
  Pay rate: $15 - $19/hr.
  
  
  Responsibilities:

  • This role involves operating a multi-unit web-fed rotary press to print bags, following procedures to meet customer expectations safely.
    
  • Key responsibilities include monitoring material quality, performing machine adjustments, and completing production reports accurately.
    
  • The position requires setting up equipment like laminators and anti-skid machines, replacing cutting blades, and maintaining equipment cleanliness.
    
  • The role also involves supporting SQF certification, ensuring a safe work environment, and demonstrating a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
    
  • Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor, while maintaining compliance with company policies.
    
    
    Qualifications: Machine experience is a plus. Must have a resume with job descriptions with at least the last 3 or 4 jobs with job descriptions for HR to review.
