Master's ClinicianJOB SUMMARYThe Master's Clinical Counselor /
Therapist will be responsible for the maintenance of all clinical
and therapeutic functions of the IOP Program. The therapist must be
able exercise sound judgment and effective decision making, ability
to set boundaries, aptitude for empathetic listening, flexibility,
willingness, and adaptability to working with diverse populations.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and possess good
time management and organizational skills. Therapist must be able
to work independently and, in a team, setting, while adhering to
federal confidentiality laws and accepted standards and guidelines.
Must be able to initiate and maintain clinical relationships and
interact appropriately with referral sources. An essential job
function is a reliable, predictable 40 hour per week job, on site
and in the community, with regular attendance.This job description

employment.1.Meets assigned productivity targets on a monthly
basis.Facilitate groups 4 days a week, for 3 hours a dayIntroduce
clients to appropriate recovery modalities such as the Hazelden
Co-Occurring Disorders Curriculum.2. Ensures program requirements
are met.Provide random drug screens to evaluate clients'
abstinence.Maintain and document contact with referral sources to
monitor client adherence and progress.Keep up to date attendance
roster.Maintain client participation log of therapy sessions.3.
Document according to Center Policy.Complete all necessary
paperwork in EMR and TNWITS, including assessments, intakes, daily
progress notes, treatment plans and transition plans at the time of
admission.Complete BHO authorization as needed at the time of
admission and track authorized sessionsResponds to all flags,
emails, and voicemail within 2 business days.Completes all chart
documentation within 2 business days. Review client treatment plan
weekly, and document clients' progress on objectives and update
plan as needed.4. NetworkingMaintains positive relationships with
internal departments to meet program needs and maximize
growth.Develops a positive and working relationship with outside
agencies to meet program needs.Gives and receives appropriate
feedback.Communicates directly with a problem-solving
approach.COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is
approximately $50,367 /yr based on relevant experience and
education.QUALIFICATIONS - Sevier Co. IOP Master's Clinician
Education / Knowledge: Graduation from an accredited college or
university with a Master's Degree in Psychology, Marriage and
Family therapy, Community Agency Counseling, Social Work, or other
closely related field of study. Extensive knowledge of addiction
and general knowledge of mental health and co-occurring disorders
are essential. Knowledge of 12 step programs, assessment,
diagnosis, treatment planning, and aftercare are also
required.Education / License: Experience working with adults in
group setting, as well as previous experience in the alcohol and
drug field is mandatory. Applicants may have other counseling
skills and/or treatment/recovery environment experience that could
accommodate this position.Abilities:Exposure to biological hazards.
Hearing of normal and soft tones. Close eye work. Must possess a
valid Tennessee driver's license. Frequent sitting, standing,
walking, bending, stooping may be required. Computer work involving
frequent usage of hands, fingers, and wrists. This position
requires certification in and adequate implementation of verbal and
physical de-escalation techniques that include a wide range of
bodily movements including but not limited to grasping, holding
another person, and going down on knees, running, and
