Job Description:
Description:We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Textile
Colorist/Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for the commercial dyeing of textiles, primarily woven
nylon, to the precise specifications of our customers, ensuring
consistency, and maintaining the highest quality standards. You
will work closely with the Quality Manager to develop and implement
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for dyeing processes, identify
and address any flaws or errors in current practices, and stay
updated on best practices in synthetic textile atmospheric dyeing.
Additionally, you will be instrumental in training and upskilling
dyehouse personnel in dyeing techniques and processes, as well as
collaborating with management and HR to enhance our staff's
technical knowledge.ResponsibilitiesDyeing Textiles: Accurately dye
textiles to customer specifications, ensuring consistency and
high-quality results.SOP Development: Write and maintain Standard
Operating Procedures for dyeing processes to ensure materials are
dyed consistently.Process Improvement: Examine current dyeing
processes for flaws or errors and implement improvements as
needed.Best Practices: Stay informed about the latest best
practices in textile atmospheric dyeing and integrate them into our
processes.Training & Teaching: Educate dyehouse personnel on dyeing
processes and techniques, fostering a culture of continuous
learning and improvement.Collaboration: Work with management and HR
to develop and implement a program that upskills dyehouse staff,
enhancing their technical knowledge and proficiency in all
duties.Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Manager to
ensure all dyed materials meet or exceed customer expectations and
industry standards.Requirements:Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in
Chemistry, Textile Science, or a related field. Proven experience
in textile dyeing, particularly with nylon materials.Strong
understanding of dyeing techniques and processes. Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to write clear and
concise SOPs.Effective communication and teaching skills.Strong
organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work
collaboratively with various departments and personnel.Equal
