This role will provide both synchronous and asynchronous consults to patients.About This Position:--- Remote position, offering the opportunity for work/life balance with no commute. ---Monday-Friday 8am-5pm---Virtual consultations of hospitalized patients, consisting of adults 18 and older. ---High-quality care to adult (18+ years old) hospital patients who need medical services. ---Candidate must be physically located in North Carolina. ---Competitive compensation and benefits. ---No call. ---EPIC electronic medical record platform utilized.Ideal Candidate:---2+ years of experience is preferred. ---Board Certified/Eligible in Infectious Disease. ---Telemedicine experience is a plus, but not required. ---Open-minded and flexible with change. ---Dedicated to developing new and exciting ways to deliver care.UNC Physicians Network is physician-led and dyad-organized.
