  • Rotating 36/48 Days schedule, EOW, Occasional on call.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of experience
    • Accepts 1st time travelers
    • Experience working General OR, Pedi General OR and Trauma required
    • Traveler must live 100 miles from the facility
    • General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. Can start the traveler any Sunday following completion of compliance documents by the deadline.
      • Schedule Information
      • The hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule if there is a decrease in census.
      • Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.

        • Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession.
        • The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
