- Job Description: CVICU 3rd floor Heart Tower
- Unit Information: 19 bed mixed unit CVICU/CVRU with a 1:2 or
1:1 ratio depending on acuity.
- Location: 3rd floor Heart Tower, Address: 509 Biltmore Ave,
Building: E= Heart Tower
- Core nurses trained in critical care, heart care, recovery and
all devices.
- Job Requirements
- Must have: BLS/ACLS
- Critical Care training
- 2 years CVICU or CVRU experience
- A love for surgical heart care
- High energy, upbeat personality
- Preferred: Certification in Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery or
Recovery Room care
- Schedule Information
- Shift Start: 0645
- Weekends: Every other
- Overtime must be approved by CNCs
- Unit Specific Information
- Floating Area(s): All ICUs and Stepdown
- Nurse will arrive to unit ready for work no earlier than 7
minutes prior or post shift start
- Dress Code: navy blue or white scrubs, nursing shoes, hair off
shoulder, no fake nails
