Job Title: Pharmacist Job Specialty: Pharmacy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:30-07:00, 7 on 7 off rotation which may include weekends Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospital experience License: RPh in North Carolina Certifications: ACLS preferred if working in the Emergency Department Must-Have: - Hospital experience - Experience overseeing the work of technicians Job Description: - Oversee technician staff and verify orders - Coordinate clinical documentation and operational needs of a central pharmacy - Perform order verification and product distribution - Address clinical questions from nurses and providers - Work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently multitask - Exhibit a positive attitude and adaptability Preferred Skills: - Experience in the Emergency Department - Experience with Cerner and Vigilanz systems - Previous 3rd shift experience - ACLS certification Additional Information: - Employment involves working in a large acute care facility known for its wide range of specialties, including cardiovascular services, oncology, and pediatrics. - The pharmacy unit utilizes equipment such as Talyst Machine, Pyxis, LAFW, CAI, and EMR - Cerner, Vigilanz. - The ideal candidate will be a team player capable of handling stressful situations with adept resource management. - Dress code includes scrub colors in forest green top and bottom, or black bottom, with business casual also being acceptable.
