• Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Check description for certifications required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support - Required for any candidate with patient contact.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - Check description for certifications required.
• Tech Cert Verification - National - National Certification/Verification required as applicable.
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement - Required annually.
• State License 1 Verification - Primary Source Verification.
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) - Required.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam - Required as applicable by Profession.
• Competency Exam - Required.

  • General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. Traveler can start any Sunday that compliance documents are completed by the deadline.
  • 16 hours of nonbillable orientation. Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule if there is a decrease in census.
  • Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.
  • Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession. Clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.

    • Previous Charge Experience Preferred
    • ALL TRAVELERS MUST LIVE 100 MILES FROM THE FACILITY
