Position Description
Job Summary: The Summers-Taylor, Inc. Service Manager is
responsible for keeping all yellow iron and commercial fleet
operational and ensuring their preventive maintenance schedules are
organized and maintained properly. The Service Manager will use
programs including, but not limited to, Equipment 360, Fleet
Watcher, and Microsoft Teams to effectively and efficiently
complete all job duties. Using these programs, you will manage
daily PM alerts, read and send reports, and compile closing work
orders. As a successful team member of the Summers Taylor Shop, you
will ensure mechanics and technicians are aware of daily work
schedules and PM kits are readily available. the work environment
must be maintained and all safety and OSHA standards are upheld
under the Service Managers supervision.
Job Duties: --- Manage Equipment 360's preventative maintenance
software, alerts, reports and closings for Summers Taylor yellow
iron fleet.--- Manage Fleet Watcher's preventative maintenance
software alerts, reports and closing for Summers Taylor's
commercial fleet.--- Ensure PM Systems are working effectively and
efficiently.--- Communicate effectively and effectively with the PM
technician team regarding daily expectations.--- Ensure proper
documentation of preventive maintenance for all equipment.---
Establish and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.--- Set
benchmarks for metric tracking to maximize productivity.--- Give
data to supervisors with regards to equipment life expectancy when

Position Requirements
Job Requirements: --- Proven experience as a Service Manager or in
a similar role in the construction industry--- Must be willing to
work nights, weekends and holidays if and when required.--- Must
exemplify computer skills for scheduling, reporting, auditing,
etc.--- In-depth knowledge of service management principles and
practices.--- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet
deadlines. --- Must have a Valid Driver's License.--- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills.
