Summary: Summers-Taylor, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and
dedicated Class 1 Mechanic to join our team. As a Class 1 Mechanic,
you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient functioning
and maintenance of our fleet of heavy equipment and vehicles. The
ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy
machinery, along with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical
issues. This is a first shift position and could be at the
Summers-Taylor Shop or in the field on any given day. Key
ResponsibilitiesInspect and diagnose mechanical issues in heavy
equipment and vehiclesPerform routine maintenance and preventative
servicesRepair and replace defective parts and componentsEnsure
worker orders are completed timely and efficientlyEnsure
preventative maintenance schedule is consistently metMaintain tools
and equipment, and inventory of equipment and suppliesMaintain
required records of hours/materials expended for each jobPerform
