About the Role As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a critical
role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our
plant equipment and facilities. From diagnosing and repairing
equipment to performing preventative maintenance and building new
systems, your work will directly support our operations and team
productivity. What You'll Do Maintenance Responsibilities Diagnose
and repair a variety of equipment throughout the plant. Perform
preventative maintenance on machinery and building systems.
Assemble and build new equipment as needed to support operations.
Conduct general facility maintenance, including plumbing, pump
repairs, and machine shop tasks. Read and interpret blueprints,
schematics, and technical manuals to guide repairs and maintenance.
Operate welding equipment to maintain and repair metal structures
and frameworks. Equipment Operation Safely operate lift trucks and
other necessary equipment to perform tasks. Safety and
Collaboration Follow safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout
(LOTO), confined space procedures, and all PPE guidelines.
Participate in a collaborative work environment by cross-training
and communicating effectively with team members. Maintain a clean
and organized workspace in alignment with 5S principles to enhance
workflow and efficiency. What We're Looking For Required Skills and
Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a maintenance
mechanic in a manufacturing facility or completion of an applicable
trade school program. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems,
three-phase electrical systems, automated systems, and basic PLC
controls. Training in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and lift truck
operation (preferred but not required). Familiarity with confined
space, hot work, and line breaking procedures. Ability to read and
interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and technical
manuals. Preferred Skills Experience with Roll Form maintenance and
operation. Manufacturing experience in the window/door production
industry. Personal Attributes Strong problem-solving skills and
attention to detail. Effective time management skills with the
ability to handle multiple tasks. Customer-oriented mindset with a
sense of urgency. Ability to work collaboratively in a team
environment and adapt to changing priorities. Physical Demands This
role requires standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity:
Must frequently lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Regularly perform
repetitive tasks while remaining in a standing position. Ability to
differentiate colors and adjust visual focus for reading
